Ideas We Adore | Bride is the Beauty

Many brides become so overwhelmed with planning their wedding that they leave little time to think about pampering themselves before the big day. So, we’ve come up with a beautification timeline before your big day and some tips to follow that will give the bride confidence in her appearance!

As the Bride, Treat Yourself

6 weeks
+ Meet with your stylists to do a trial run (make sure to bring pictures of your dress and hairstyles you like, and any headbands or hairpins you plan on wearing)

2 weeks
+ Color your hair (hair color typically looks best the first two weeks, and in case of any accidents, this leaves enough time for it to be fixed)
+ Get a facial (this will clear your pores and leave your skin feeling fresh without risking redness too close to the wedding)
+ Start drinking plenty of water and reduce salt intake (this will keep you hydrated and reduce bloating)

2-4 days
+ Wax (anywhere and everywhere you want, the important thing is to give yourself a few days for any redness or swelling to go away)

Wedding Eve
+ Wash your hair (allowing your scalp to have some natural oils will help it hold a style)
+ Get a manicure and pedicure (nails often take a couple of hours to do depending on the services you choose, so getting them done the day before will allow you more time to relax on the day of)

Wedding Day

+Hair appointment (make sure you wear a button up shirt)
+ Makeup appointment (it is recommended to get your makeup done before the dress is on to keep it nice and white)
+ Relax! (you will feel better and look much better too)
