My Wedding Library Magazine makes News 4 in Reno (watch now)! Planning a wedding is exciting for engaged couples and their families. But it can also be stressful and overwhelming. Many couples get engaged during the holiday season and will soon begin their own wedding planning process. With a free local publication hitting stands on December 30, they will now have a guidebook.
My Wedding Library Magazine, the ultimate resource for anyone planning a wedding, will be available at several locations throughout the Reno/Tahoe/Truckee area. The magazine profiles local wedding vendors, including photographers, venues, bridal boutiques, caterers, event coordinators, makeup artists and hair stylists. It also features a planning checklist, budget worksheet and marriage license application information.
The magazine was produced by My Wedding Library, a local business that helps couples connect with area wedding professionals more efficiently by allowing them to compare vendors side-by-side and read others’ reviews and ratings all in one place—either at My Wedding Library’s South Reno storefront or online—for free. The company, which opened this June, was founded by Beth and Chris Jones after they planned their own Lake Tahoe wedding and wanted to help simplify the process for other couples.
“The magazine is the perfect starting point for an engaged couple because it’s a great introduction to our local vendors,” said Beth Jones, co-owner of My Wedding Library. “We also wanted to highlight the free resources available at My Wedding Library.”
The magazine can be found at the following locations:
