Laurie did an amazing job with my makeup and hair!  Below are some pictures.   She arrived early (6:50am on Daylight Savings Sunday) and was quick to set up.  She was very efficient with her time and skilled in her technique.  Her makeup application was flawless and really complimented my facial features.   I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and couldn't have asked for better service!   Thank you so much! 

Bailey, Laurie and Esmerelda were prompt, courteous, and SO talented. Everyone in the wedding party looked fabulous. They came to our room at the Peppermill and the day was so much easier because of the in-room styling. They were worth every penny.
I had 10 bridesmaids plus myself (almost everyone did hair and makeup) but the girls did great organizing it all and giving everyone exactly what they wanted for their look. I enjoyed doing my trial run a couple months prior to the wedding, and Bailey and Laurie took my notes and did my hair and makeup exactly how I wanted.
The owners of the company are really good people and are so courteous.
Also, I had a couple things go "wrong" before the ceremony: I banged my shoulder on an end table while plugging in an iPhone charger and had a scrape/bruise, and I started to overheat from nervousness and broke out in redness on my neck and chest. Bailey was able to easily cover up both the mark on my shoulder and the redness. She made me feel at-ease!

Corey is AMAZING!  For my engagement pictures, she did my make-up and Esmeralda did my hair.  While my hair was good, the make-up was the best I've ever had done.  Corey's background in make-up artistry really shows through as she creates a look that is best for you.  Just after the short time I spent with her while she did my make-up, I knew that I wanted her to be a part of my wedding day.  I hired her within the week to do the make-up for my entire party.  Even after one of my bridesmaids had to back out, she let me substitute my mom for the 4th spot.  You can tell Corey really tries to find a look that will work for the individuality of the bridesmaids as well as an overall look for the party.  There were only 2 girls in my bridal party who are completely different when it comes to their make-up (one plays up her eyes while the other is very simple).  However, Corey found a way to make them complement each other (and myself) while still playing up what they liked.  I would recommend Corey to anybody and I will definitely be using her again. 

Corey did an amazing job on my make-up!  I could not have been happier.  I had 2 ceremonies in 1 day and she was able to create 2 different looks,  both looking natural. She was very easy to work with and we all had a blast! I highly recommend The Decorated Bride. Thanks again for making me look beautiful! 

Myself and two of my bridesmaids had Corey do our makeup and Laurie do our hair and I know I can speak for all three of us when I say they did a spectacular job. We all looked so amazing! Corey and Laurie have such great attention to detail and made sure they didn't miss a thing. Every step of the way, Laurie made sure that we liked how our hair looked before proceeding in order to make sure that we would end up loving the finished product. And Corey did such an outstanding  job that I didn't have to touch up my makeup even once (with the exception of lip gloss, of course)! Even through my tears during the ceremony and the scorching heat of having our ceremony outside, my makeup was perfect and stayed intact the entire night without a smudge! I loved their work so much that I have already hired them for hair and makeup styling for my day-after photo shoot. I know they will not disappoint! I will surely keep them in mind for any of my future hair and makeup styling needs, whether it be for a boudoir shoot or if I ever have the pleasure to be a bridesmaid.

The Decorated Bride team is the best and Corey is on top of everything!  My make-up artist was BAILEY and I can't thank her enough for the wonderful job she did with my makeup.   I was able to show her a picture from a magazine of the "look" I was aiming for and she did better a better job with my makeup than the picture I showed her.  I received so much compliments from strangers as I headed through the hotel and into the chapel to prepare for my ceremony.

 I want to say that the girls at The Decorated Bride are AMAZING!  Makeup artist Morgan and hair artist Esmeralda did a fabulous job.  I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup!  I can't thank them enough!  I would definitely recommend them to anyone! 

Corey and her team are "as good as it gets."  After corresponding with several stylists in the Reno and Lake Tahoe areas Corey proved to be the only one that was responsive, professional and true to her word.  Coming from Florida to get married in Lake Tahoe and pick a make up and hair stylist through email and phone was definitely a challenge but Corey made it so easy.  
She and her hair stylist came to me at my hotel.  They quickly set up shop in my room, put on my favorite music and transformed me into a beautiful bride.  They even helped me get into my dress, and assisted me downstairs and into the limo.
Professional and talented are just two words that begin the description of The Decorated Bride.  If I am ever back in the area and need this type of service I will not think twice to use them again.  I recommend that any bride that is getting married in the Lake Tahoe or Reno areas to utilize the Decorated Bride!  It might cost a few dollars more then the others but for your special day dont you want the best...the Decorated Bride IS the BEST!  Not only are they the best but they come to you = PRICELESS on your wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks Corey!

Thanks to The Decorated Bride I felt like a BOMBSHELL on my wedding day! I am so grateful for Corey and Esmeralda - When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good it shows. It definitely showed!

I had to write and tell you how much the wedding services ROCKED! First and foremost, I felt amazing. I look back at the pictures and cannot even believe it is me! I loved the make-up and felt like my request to change it all up on the day of was welcomed with open arms. Corey, you are an amazing artist and I am so glad that I found you to help me on my big day. My mother and sister looked amazing as well. I just wanted to thank you and your amazing team SO much for all the attention to detail to their artistry.  My fiancée and I were very happy with the results.  We made it back in perfect time for the photo session and from what I heard it turned out amazing.  

I wanted to share some of the photos from our wedding and also tell you thank you so much for doing such an AMAZING job! Seriously I absolutely LOVED the way my hair and makeup turned out, got so many great compliments, and I loved working with you. I actually was in a wedding right after I got back from my honeymoon and it was one woman doing all the hair and makeup, but she didn't have a schedule or anything, and I was thinking how great it was that you were so good about the timing so that everything ran perfectly!

Corey did my make-up for my wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. I initially was hesitant to have anyone do my make-up because I really wanted a natural look. Corey explained to me the contouring necessary for wonderful photographs and made me realize that you can have "wedding make-up" while still looking like yourself. She even got me wearing fake eye-lashes - now that's talent. I felt so comfortable and confident in her hands. I knew that whatever she recommended was what I needed.
I also appreciated how flexible she was. There were a few things about my consultation that I wasn't sure about but Corey completely was open to my concerns and totally accomodating. Her number 1 priority was making sure I was happy. I certainly was.
I have nothing but completely and total enthusiasm behind my recommendation of using Corey for your wedding. She was a complete professional and perfectionist. During my wedding, the last thing I wanted to worry about was my make-up. With Corey in charge, my make-up stayed on (and in-place) all night long as I danced the night away with my friends, family and new husband!!

I hired Corey to do my make-up and hair for my wedding this past September. I was given Corey's name by a friend, who is a wedding coordinator, after she had seen Corey's impressive resume. Corey's price was very competitive and she was fantastic to work with. 

When we did my trial, I did not have a specific look in mind but did my best to tell Corey what I was looking for. She took my sparse ideas and descriptions and created a look that was stunning. It was so much more than I had imagined or hoped for. I wanted to look like a 'better' version of me as I don't usually wear make-up... and I thought she achieved this well.

On the wedding day Corey was so positive and calming, even when it started to rain and the venue was trying to move our wedding ceremony inside. All of my bridal party and family loved her for both her work and her personality. Again, she made me look just as I had hoped to look for my wedding. 
I really can't recommend Corey highly enough. She has an amazing ability to make you look and feel beautiful, and does so in a way that keeps true to your wishes. She is very talented and I would hire her again in a second.

Corey Rowe and her crew were awesome!!

Corey is an amazing make-up artist. She applied make-up for myself, my mother and daughter for my wedding in August 2009. She was so calming and positive through out the process. We met for a consultation and I had no idea when I met her what I wanted. But she walked me through different looks trying numerous colors and shades on me until I was satisifed with my make-up. Corey's extensive make-up collection is impressive. She has every shade, color and beauty item known that she brings with her in her traveling case. Everything was clean and perfectly organized.


The wedding day came and she did a fabulous job. I was completely satisifed, my mother looked beautiful, not overdone, just right. I also wanted my 4 year old daughter to be part of this experience with my mother and I. I did not want my daughter looking like she was 'over done'. Corey applied just the right amount of make-up to my daughter to make her feel part of our session and yet she still looked like an innocent 4 year old that she should.

As the mother of the bride, I have a special view point when it comes to evaluating the different people who helped to make my daughter Erin's wedding a memorable event.

Corey is a make up artist with national recognition. We discovered this when we were at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco and one of the vendors said Corey represented several cosmetic companies and trained the cosmeticians behind the department store counters!

The day of the wedding, Corey was more than amazing. First of all she transformed Erin into a vision of loveliness. She listened carefully to Erin's ideas, added her suggestions, and the result was perfection. She also applied make up to my other daughters (bridesmaids) and myself. We were all extremely pleased with the results.

An unexpected bonus was how Corey managed our pre-ceremony jitters. Like Amy S., the wedding day was rainy. The photographer was wanting to hurry outside and take pictures. Emotion was running high. Corey, with a voice of experience, placated our nerves and settled us down. She was invaluable.

As the wedding party walked down the stairs and into the room full of wedding guests, all of us felt confident and beautiful. Thank you Corey!

Corey is a unique talent ! She worked her artistry on my nephew's bride, as well as the entire bridal party - including both sets of mothers and grandmothers ! It was amazing to watch her apply her skill to the varied ages, and even more amazing to see the results. The young looked natural and the older ladies looked radiant ! Neither looked "made-up" or over-done. Corey did a truly wonderful job with a bridesmaid - whose Rosacia had surfaced the day of the wedding. She was able to cover the rash areas and still keep the make-up looking natural and somehow translucent.

Corey has a natural skill at putting people at ease, which made the entire experience more relaxed on a stressful day. She is a true professional and I would recommend her highly.

I'm from the bay area and my wedding coordinator was able to find Corey for me to do my makeup at Squaw Valley. I never had a chance to meet her prior to my wedding so I was a little nervous. But when I finally did meet Corey on my wedding day, I felt very at ease and trusted her. Corey is an amazing makeup artist! She did a wonderful job on me, my mother, and my bridesmaids. I wanted to have a natural look and still look amazing for photos, and she managed to accomplished it all. My bridesmaids and mother were also very happy with the work that she have done for them.
