Like many people, I thought having a wedding planner was an extravagance we couldn’t quite budget it, but at my mother’s insistence, we decided to meet with Liane. And like most things, mom was right. After that first meeting I was convinced that Liane would not be an extravagance at all, but an absolute necessity. When my baker canceled one month out, I emailed Liane trying not to panic. In less than an hour, she had a recommendation for me and had even called that baker to let her know our situation. The cupcakes were a huge hit with the guests! During the entire planning process Liane was a true professional; I always received prompt replies to my emails, and her experience helped me turn my not quite complete ideas into a beautiful reality. The day of was gorgeous, everything I could have wanted! Liane helped run everything so smoothly that neither I nor my mother ever had to leave the celebration to solve a problem. When the complicated bustle on my dress refused to stay bustled, Liane was able to fix it no problem at all. I really don’t think I could have had such a beautiful, stress-free wedding without Liane’s help. I’ll be recommending her to every bride I know, Thank you again Liane for helping to make our day so perfect.

Destination wedding

Liane and her team helped us in making our destination wedding an unforgettable event. She was consistent in keeping us informed and aware of our timeline. She also helped us manage our priorities re getting and contacting the right vendors. She also made sure that all vendors were in the loop, even though some of our vendors were outside her circle. Best of all, she managed to make things happen without bothering us., such as finding a bake shop that will create my dream wedding cake coz our caterer could not do it. And also, coming to my rescue when my florist sent the wrong bouquet , a beautiful bouquet was delivered to my suite just in time for me to go to the ceremony! Perfect! I also know that there were a lot of chaos behind the scene, during the transfer and set-up for the reception, but her staff and hotel staff made sure to keep it from me so as not to worry me. With Liane's help our wedding was spectacular , my guests, friends and family were all very happy! And we have pictures to prove that.:)
My husband and I will forever cherish that day.

Exceptional "Day Of" Assistance

As a professional event and conference planner I was very happy to serve as wedding coordinator at my niece's wedding at the Thunderbird Lodge this July. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at the location the day of the wedding to find "day of" assistance offered by Liane. She was a fantastic second set of hands, always ready to step in and help where needed, remaining calm and cool in an otherwise hectic day. The wedding was the bride's dream come true; fairy tale setting and perfect weather. All details were handled professionally by the vendors so that the day came off without a glitch! Liane McCombs is an amazing “day of wedding” coordinator. The services that we required for our wedding did not really fit into one of her regular packages, so we created one that fit together. Whenever we had to arrange specifics she would always call, text or email me in a timely manner. She would always show up for meetings before we got there, we never once had to wait for her.

I was a very involved bride, I made a lot of my decorations etc., she would clarify if she had any question on what exactly I wanted. She was great. Also on the day of my wedding I was able to let go and I had every confidence in her ability to carry out our wedding. She took my vision above and beyond what I had hoped for our big day. It was the best way to start out our happily every after.

First off I want to just say our wedding was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed every minute and have nothing but magical memories of everything about our special day.
We were married at St. Rose of Lima on June 16th and our reception was at the Auto Museum. We hired Liane and her team to do the "day of" and she did just that and more. Starting with the rehearsal the night before, we met Claire Ann who was AMAZING. The staff at the church was hard to deal with to say the least and she interfered which was a life saver! You would think church staff would be nicer... she got everyone's names, helped organize the rehearsal and even calmed down the very wound up unnamed church staffer.

The next day was when Claire Ann and the staff truly shined. We hired them to handle the day of organizing, set up and all the in-between. They did EXACTLY that. My mom did not have to lift one finger which is exactly what I wanted. They set everything out, had everything organized and we got NOTHING but compliments on how everything looked so put together and every single thing about that night was so thought out and felt like a lot of love was put into it. WHICH THERE WAS! Having our mass held at a different location and the timeline left us no time to do any of that on our own and the relief that everything was taken care of was invaluable.

The one thing that truly touched me and made me feel like I wasn't just another client was that Liane showed up at the ceremony. She had already told me that another planner would take point on my day but that she took the time to check in and make sure everything was taken care of. That was that personal touch to the professionalism of the staff and meant so much. She makes sure that everyone gets what they need on their special day and EVERY bride deserves that.

We were a couple that had planned pretty much everything for our wedding then realized we had no idea how to make it all come together on the big day and still allow time for us to enjoy our dream wedding. Thanks to Liane we were able to do just that! Liane was always available and willing to help. We had a last minute cancelation by our officiant, change in contact person at our venue site, and even rain on our wedding day, but with Liane by our side all of these hiccups were not even stressful as she was prepared for everything. Liane was not only great with coordinating all of our vendor services on the day of our wedding, but she also rolled up her sleeves and jumped in to help any of the vendors wherever needed. From helping the catering staff bus tables to passing champagne with the bar staff Liane did not hesitate to help out wherever she could. Having worked with coordinators for 23 years as a DJ, Liane is by far my favorite and the most capable coordinator I know of. She and her staff go above and beyond and truly care about every little detail of the day. At Three Ponds, I had the pleasure to work with Lauren & Alisha, and they exceeded my expectations as usual. Lauren was constantly on the move, doing countless tasks behind the scenes and keeping everyone on track and in sync. Many coordinators dictate but don't deign to get their hands dirty- not so with Liane and staff. Lauren was filling needs and correcting issues all evening. When the ice supply ran low, Alisha went out and bought huge bags and the guests were none the wiser. And as a vendor, I love that they were always checking on me- making sure I was hydrated, that I had a chance to eat, and most importantly that we were all in sync throughout the night for the events and announcements. I know as a coordinator, many of the things they do go unnoticed and are unsung, but that just means that they did their job, and did their job well. It was an amazing evening which I was so happy to be a part of, and I thank Lauren and Alisha for their hard work and I look forward to working with them in the future.

Liane has coordinated several weddings at the Twenty Mile House and goes above and beyond with each one. She is a great advocate for the Wedding party and worth her weight in gold. She gracefully orchestrates the venders behind the scenes and is clearly focused on creating the greatest outcome for the Bride and Groom. Every wedding has some minor detail that is overlooked or has plans that need adjusting on the wedding day. This is where Liane really shines as a coordinator with clear communication and an eagerness to step right in and take care of it so the wedding party doesn't have to.

People recommended to me to get a day of coordinator and I didn't think I needed one. Boy was I wrong. I met with Liane a few weeks into my planning and hired her immediately! Any questions I had along the way, she was there for. She met with us at our location a few weeks before to make sure we were all on the same page. She brought up so many things I never even thought about. It was great. Then the big day came. I worried about nothing, not one thing. Knowing she was there and how great she was....we were able to enjoy our day and had a blast!!!

My husband and I agree that hiring Liane for our day of was the smartest decision we could have made! She took on the challenge of herding all my kittens on the day of. People kept telling me that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen. Why? Because I knew Liane was making sure all my vendors were on point and she was making sure the entire bridal party was where they needed to be. She was so confident and organized that I never worried things wouldn't work out. Even though I only hired her for the wedding day, she was always there to answer any questions I had and when I was freaking out over the budget she was there to talk me off the cliff and locate amazing vendors that fit into my budget. Again without her there I know I would have been so stressed and unable to enjoy the festivities. With her there I danced, laughed and had absolutely no worries!

Liane was awesome! She was so helpful and SOOO totally affordable. She was great at doing all the problem solving the day of my wedding and helped me set up the day before. During the rehearsal, she knew what to do and directed us all, we had know idea what we were doing. Honestly, I'm not sure we could have pulled it off without her. She kept it all organized and nice. We had way more guests than anticipated and Liane took care of all the extra tables we needed to set up to accommodate them. I didn't even know there was a problem. All I had to do the day of my wedding was show up and that alone is worth every penny. We would recommend Liane to anyone who desires a nice, stress free wedding.

Liane was wonderful. When I had first talked to her I was so stressed out, Trying to plan a wedding and take care of a baby by your self is not easy. Liane McCombs planned my wedding and it turned out even better than I had imagined. She was very detail oriented, she listened my ideas and gave me great insight and vision as well. She was very cautious with my budget and always found the cheaper alternative, without making the reception look inexpensive. We hired Liane to be our day-of coordinator for our daughter's wedding at Edgewood Tahoe. Best thing we ever did! She was reasonably priced, efficient, pleasant to work with.........she made the whole event go perfectly! I would highly recommend her and advise anyone planning a wedding to hire, at least, a day-of coordinator. My daughter got married at our home in a beautiful backyard wedding with 140 guests! We did all the planning and hired her for the "day of" cordinator. As the mother of the bride I was able to relax and totally enjoy the day and focus only on my daughter. I knew that she was puttng out all the little fires. when my daughter first suggested her I didnt know if we could afford it but I would recomend to anyone planning their own wedding to hire Liane as day of cordinator. I hired Liane for my "Day Of" wedding planner. She went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met and my wedding was organized. Before the wedding, she helped me in so many ways even though I just hired her for a "Day Of" planner. The day of my wedding, EVERYTHING was absolutely beautiful and went off without any problems. Hiring Liane was the best decision we ever made. Her prices were reasonable and worth every penny, and then some. Liane had grace, skill and class. We had a few tricky situations with our priest and Liane spoke up and helped work with all involved to solve the problem. Liane also made sure our ceremony and reception flowed smoothly and went according to plan. Our parents loved her, and said all agreed she was by far the best investment and decision we could have made. Without Liane I would have been stressed out, with her, I was able to relax and enjoy the party, which flew by. My husband also said he felt much more at ease with her around. Bottom line: we LOVED her, and if ever throw another large party we'll be contacting her. Brides, if you do one thing to help you relax for your big day- hire Liane.

Priceless is what I would call Liane. We hired her for day of event planning and when I forgot a important part of the wedding planning, the whole rehearsal dinner thing, she took care of it all. Liane may not have a magic wand but she made sure things were perfect. The day of our wedding I literally got up got dressed and got married; she dealt with everything from making sure people were there to making sure the florist was finished and recruited the people she needed when she needed them. She is a wonderful woman who made sure our day was the best day of our lives, it was perfect in so many ways a Liane played a big part in that. We live in Washington state and all our planning was done out of state and Liane helped anytime I need guidance or just needed her to take it over. Best money we could have ever spent!

I have had several opportunities to work with Liane McCombs in the past. Each time she has been very professional. I am an owner of Isabel's For The Love Of Cake- Bakery, Sparks, NV. I make the majorty of wedding cake deliveries and I know how critical it is to arrive and set up each cake on time. Liane makes sure this is never an issuse for us! I recenty attended a wedding where I was a guest and Liane was the coordinator. The parents of the bride had worked tirelessly to make sure their daughters wedding went well. Her service added a huge amount of value to the outcome of the wedding and to the fun we were able to have. Her contacts, suggestions and experiences are priceless...the discounts an relationships she has established really can cut down major costs....her ability to implement those 'finishing touches' really meant a lot in making the event beautiful. Great "Day of" Coordinator

We hired Liane to be our Day of Coordinator and I am so glad we did! Not only is she reasonably priced, but she is very professional and really went above and beyond to help make our event go well.

We did have one oops moment in the planning process where Liane was not able to make it to an appointment we had scheduled, but she went out of her way to make it up to us. We had a completely DIY wedding (Liane was one of our only vendors- we even did all the cooking) and had some non traditional elements that some planners might have thought were silly. But Liane rolled with it- understanding that these were the things that made the day special to us! Having a day of coordinator is something I think is key to making sure you and your family have some stress eliminated on your big day. Liane proved this time and again- keeping our event on schedule, noticing little details that needed to be corrected. She even made a last minute trip to our rental company when we realized there was a mistake in our delivery. I really appreciate all of her hard work to make sure our day was extra special. She is well worth her fees!!

Planning your wedding is a very important process, it takes time, effort and a lot of concentration not to miss the smallest detail, because you just want a perfect day for you, your family and your friends.
That is why, having a professional wedding planner like Liane McCombs on your side it sure makes your wedding day a memorable experience. This summer, I had the pleasure to work with Liane and it was very comforting to me, as a photographer, to know that all the wedding details were well taking care of from the little things to making sure the bride and the groom were having the time of their lives.
Liane is very knowledgeable, well organized and energetic and all that, just to make the couple more relaxed and totally enjoy the unique experience of their wedding day.

Liane McCombs helped make our Jewish wedding an absolute dream come true. She was easy to work with and made sure that everything turned out exactly the way that my fiance and I wanted. As the mother of the bride, I was the wedding planner for my daughter, Trisha’s wedding in May 2010, in Virginia City NV. When I first told my husband I wanted to hire a wedding coordinator for the day of the wedding, his first reaction was “how much is this going to cost us”. But after we decided to hire Liane he realized that hiring her was well worth it (for my stress level and for his!)

As soon as we hired her, she contacted all of our vendors to introduce herself. She worked well with everyone. She was so incredibly organized. From being at the rehearsal to setting up tables with the caterer the night before the wedding. The rehearsal and wedding day went so smooth that we couldn’t have asked for a better coordinated event. I highly recommend hiring Liane to anyone, no matter what the cost, just ask my husband! She was worth it!

Liane McCombs was such a great help on the day of the wedding. I was lucky enough to win her day event services and after only meeting up with her a couple times before the wedding she was able to help my family execute the perfect wedding for me and my husband. She helped keep everybody and everything right on schedule and was there to fix with any hiccups along the way!
