Swoon is absolutely the only store anyone should shop at for their wedding dress! I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I literally went to every bridal store in town looking for a dress, all the while thinking in the back of my mind that I would have to go to SF to find "the one". Well I was wrong! I fell in love with not one but two dresses at Swoon! Michelle let me come in to try the two dresses on 3 separate times before I finally made my decision. That girl has patience! She was so incredibly helpful, as were all of the girls. I ended up purchasing my dream gown, a cute little short number for the reception (it was a sample so I got it for a steal!), ALL of my accessories, and a few sample bridesmaid dresses (they're a great deal and such cute party dresses!). My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses here and they couldn't be happier! All the Swoon girls there are such sweethearts and a pleasure to do business with. They were always available to answer my questions. They even helped me hunt down a specific piece of jewelry that I had found online by one of their designers when all they had was a picture to go by. I had a spectacular experience at Swoon and I know that every bride that goes in there will. They have a gorgeous collection of gowns and they never pressure you to buy anything that you don't absolutely love. Trust me, save yourself some time and make Swoon your first stop for dress shopping!

I had looked all over this town for the perfect bridesmaid dresses and I couldn't find what I was looking for.  A friend suggested Swoon.  I walked into swoon looking for fun and stylish bridesmaid dresses.  I found what I was looking for immediately.  The dresses were classy, fun, and beautiful.  My bridesmaids loved them.  The employees at Swoon as very helpful, as well.  I needed a dress shipped to a bridesmaid and they did it without hesitation.  I would recommend Swoon to anyone looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress.  You won't be disappointed!

I was frustrated with the types of wedding gowns I found in other Reno shops.  Too fussy, too lacking in style and sophistication...so I breezed into Swoon without any expectations.  I saw two dresses that were simple and elegant but wasn't even thinking of trying them on.  The consultant gently suggested that I might want to give them a try.  The first one wasn't right, but the second one- well, all I can say is it was just magic.  Beautiful design, fine silk, and something that my groom will go crazy over when he sees it on our wedding day : ) Michelle is a joy to work with.  You have to check this place out!  

I did not intend to buy my wedding dress in Reno given that I live in the Bay Area, but I was visiting my mother, and on a whim, we decided to take a peek in Swoon. What a wonderful surprise! Michelle has created a glamorous boutique filled with an inspiring selection of gowns. Trying on gowns at Swoon was not only fun but magical when you find yourself in "the dress". I was so impressed with Michelle's level of service, knowledge, and style that I purchased my dress the next day! No need to run around the Bay Area trying to find something better because Swoon has it all! All of those Reno brides are so lucky to have such a hip bridal salon right in their backyard.

For any bride working within a set budget, finding a bridal salon that offers the luxurious atmosphere that one desires is difficult. After visiting the neon-lighted, "get 'em in and get 'em out", cattle shops around town, I visited Swoon and was swept away. Rarely is there someone in the shop that isn't with your party and Michelle's every focus is on the bride and finding her that dress that makes her feel like the lovely creature she is. For the discerning bride with a set budget, Michelle is genuinely understanding and accommodating. She won't even begin to let you wander in the direction of the couture, designer labels with the intention that you not fall in love with that out of-your budget look. Michelle is quick to offer every possible solution she can because when she sees the look on your face as you twirl in “your gown,” she has done her job—and can go home feeling accomplished. I found an incredible dress from the Rosa Claire collection that mimicked the Priscilla of Boston bodice. The fabric was exquisite, the details--minutely perfect. My second visit, on which I brought my mother, her face softened, her body language changed, she relaxed, and simply said “mmmm.” She has commented, numerous times, on the level of sophistication and the severe difference between the many other shops we visited in Reno, and Swoon. I've stopped by countless times to visit "her"--my dress, that is. Michelle is never too busy to direct you to your treasure and doesn't mind your grumblings, chatter, and squeals of excitement over the many facets of wedding planning. Her patience and indisputable excitement for every bride is contagious. As I found the dresses for my bridesmaids—intensely different and certainly designed with a specific bride in mind—I described them in detail. Not two sentences in, Michelle knew the dresses, the designer, and informed me that she had already ordered them—knowing that one of her brides would absolutely have to have them. Add mind-reading to her list of astonishing qualities! One of the most overlooked elements to any experience—especially shopping for your wedding gown—is finding the person, or the place, that is truly passionate about what they do and wants to offer you something you can't get anywhere else. Swoon accomplishes both. You're never rushed, you're feelings and thoughts are genuinely appreciated, and you will leave feeling like the only bride in the world—or the only one that matters! Along with all of that, Michelle also brings an air of experience and knowledge to the industry. From her study of the history of bridal gowns to her time employed at one of the top salons in San Francisco, Michelle exudes elegance and style—who wouldn't want those two aspects to shine through as they walk down the aisle?! Don't discredit Swoon—give them a chance. Put them on your list of salons to visit. Be honest and open about your budget, expectations, hopes, and dreams. Michelle will find a way to make them all come together in a stunning flourish of perfection and she'll surely make you Swoon

I had the BEST experience at swoon...a bridal salon.  The owner was wonderful and so sweet.  We found the perfect dress in less than an hour.  By far this is the best place to go in Reno.
